Welcome to Chronomade.

Chronomade is operated by Laundrobot Corporation. Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “Chronomade,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Chronomade and Laundrobot Corporation.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced in these Terms, govern your access to and use of our website, online store, products, content, features, tools, and services, collectively referred to as the “Services.”

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our website, checkout, payment processing, order management, and related ecommerce services.

By visiting, accessing, browsing, purchasing from, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our related policies, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Payment Policy, and Warranty Policy, where applicable.

If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or our related policies, you should not access or use our Services.

1. Access and Account

By using our Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or jurisdiction of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given consent for any minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase, or manage.

To use certain features of the Services or place an order, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, payment information, and other account or order-related information.

You agree that all information you provide to us is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to another person.

We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend accounts, cancel orders, or restrict access to the Services if we believe that a user has violated these Terms, provided false information, engaged in fraud, or used the Services unlawfully or abusively.

2. Our Products

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately on our website.

However, product colors, textures, dimensions, finishes, and appearance may vary slightly from what appears on your screen due to device settings, display differences, lighting, photography, production variations, or the handcrafted nature of certain products.

Many Chronomade products are handcrafted, made to order, or prepared in small batches. As a result, minor variations may occur between individual items.

We do not guarantee that the appearance, color, finish, size, or quality of any product will exactly match the images, renderings, descriptions, or expectations shown on our website, except as required by applicable law.

Product descriptions, availability, pricing, and specifications may change at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, limit, or remove any product at any time.

3. Orders and Order Acceptance

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

Chronomade reserves the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance and process your payment.

We may refuse, cancel, or modify an order for reasons including but not limited to product unavailability, suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, incorrect product information, shipping restrictions, or violation of these Terms.

If we cancel or modify an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address, shipping address, or phone number provided at the time of purchase.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Once an order has entered production, fulfillment, or shipment, cancellation may not be possible.

Purchases are subject to our Return and Refund Policy.

You represent that products purchased through our website are for personal or household use and not for unauthorized commercial resale, export, or unlawful use.

4. Prices, Taxes, and Billing

Prices, discounts, promotions, and product availability are subject to change without notice.

The price charged for a product will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, as reflected in your order confirmation, unless there is an obvious pricing error or system error.

Unless otherwise stated, product prices do not include applicable taxes, duties, import fees, shipping fees, or other charges.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other fees, if any, will be displayed at checkout where required.

Prices shown on our website may differ from prices offered through promotions, marketplaces, or third-party sales channels.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, payment, account, and contact information for all purchases.

You represent and warrant that:

- You are authorized to use the payment method provided.
- The payment information you provide is accurate and complete.
- Charges incurred by you will be honored by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
- You will pay all charges incurred at the posted prices, including applicable taxes and fees.

5. Payments

Payment is charged at the time your order is placed.

Orders will not be processed until payment has been successfully completed.

All payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Chronomade does not store your full credit card number or full payment account credentials.

Available payment methods may vary depending on your location, device, checkout settings, and payment provider availability.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Chronomade currently ships to the United States only through our online store.

We offer free Economy Shipping for eligible orders shipped within the United States.

Production and order processing typically take 2–3 weeks from the date of purchase. Eligible orders will be shipped within 30 calendar days after the order is placed, unless delays are caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Estimated delivery time after shipment for United States Economy Shipping is 5–8 business days.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, customs processing, incorrect shipping information, supply chain disruptions, natural disasters, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our control.

Some products may be produced, assembled, or fulfilled by manufacturing or logistics partners outside the United States, including Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, lost packages, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by you.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Chronomade accepts eligible return requests within 14 days after the order is delivered.

Return requests must be approved by Chronomade before items are sent back.

For returns due to personal preference, change of mind, wrong model selected by the customer, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, or other customer-related reasons, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

For returns caused by a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or an error made by Chronomade, we will review the case and may cover the return shipping cost or provide a replacement, repair, refund, or another appropriate solution.

Custom-made, engraved, personalized, final sale, or special-order products may not be eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Refunds, if approved, will be issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.

Orders may be cancelled before production or fulfillment begins. Once an order has entered production, fulfillment, or shipment, cancellation may not be possible.

8. Warranty

Certain products may be covered by a limited warranty as described in our Warranty Policy or on the relevant product page.

Warranty coverage, if applicable, is limited to the specific terms stated in the Warranty Policy.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper handling, unauthorized repairs, modifications, normal wear and tear, or human-caused damage after delivery.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including but not limited to our website design, text, images, graphics, logos, product names, videos, audio, product descriptions, trademarks, trade dress, layouts, features, and other content, are owned by Chronomade, Laundrobot Corporation, our affiliates, licensors, or service providers, and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, download, store, transmit, sell, resell, exploit, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written consent.

Chronomade names, logos, product names, designs, and slogans are trademarks or brand assets of Chronomade, Laundrobot Corporation, or our affiliates or licensors. You may not use them without prior written permission.

Shopify’s name, logo, product names, service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Shopify. Other names, logos, product names, and marks appearing on the Services are the property of their respective owners.

10. User Content and Feedback

If you submit, upload, post, email, or otherwise provide reviews, photos, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, proposals, or other content, collectively referred to as “Feedback,” you grant Chronomade a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, display, translate, create derivative works from, and otherwise use such Feedback for any lawful purpose, including improving and promoting our products and Services.

You represent that:

- You own or have all necessary rights to submit the Feedback.
- Your Feedback is accurate and not misleading.
- Your Feedback does not violate the rights of any third party.
- Your Feedback does not contain unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, malicious, or harmful material.
- You have disclosed any compensation, incentive, or material connection related to your Feedback where required by law.

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, edit, remove, or refuse Feedback at our discretion.

We may provide access to tools, features, applications, integrations, or services offered by third parties.

These third-party tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party tools, websites, platforms, services, content, policies, or practices.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, payment providers, social media pages, applications, or other online services.

We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content, accuracy, security, privacy practices, products, services, or policies of any third-party websites or services.

If you access third-party websites or services, you do so at your own risk.

Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products or services should be directed to the relevant third party.

13. Relationship with Shopify

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

However, any sale or purchase you make through our store is made directly between you and Chronomade, operated by Laundrobot Corporation.

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and Chronomade, including products, fulfillment, shipping, returns, refunds, customer support, injuries, damages, losses, or claims related to products purchased from Chronomade.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Shopify and its affiliates from claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Chronomade.

14. Privacy

Our collection, use, disclosure, and processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Because our store is powered by Shopify, Shopify may also collect and process personal information in connection with your access to and use of the Services.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

15. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Occasionally, information on the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including information related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times, product availability, images, or specifications.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change, update, or cancel orders if any information on the Services is inaccurate at any time, including after you have submitted an order.

We are not obligated to update, amend, or clarify information on the Services except as required by law.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so some limitations may not apply to you.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chronomade, Laundrobot Corporation, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, service providers, partners, and Shopify and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services or products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chronomade, Laundrobot Corporation, Shopify, and our respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:

- Your breach of these Terms or related policies.
- Your violation of any law or regulation.
- Your violation of any third-party rights.
- Your misuse of the Services.
- Your Feedback or other content submitted by you.

We reserve the right to control the defense and settlement of any claim subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us in defending such claims.

You remain responsible for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including but not limited to Intellectual Property, User Content and Feedback, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution, Privacy, and any payment obligations.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements by which we provide Services to you are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

22. Dispute Resolution and Venue

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or products purchased through the Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, United States.

You and Chronomade consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking appropriate relief in small claims court where permitted by law or from seeking injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property misuse, fraud, security abuse, or unauthorized access.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion will be deemed severed from these Terms.

The remaining provisions will remain valid and enforceable.

24. Waiver

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any policies or rules posted on our website or referenced in these Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chronomade regarding your use of the Services.

These Terms supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us regarding the Services.

26. Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

We may assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent or notice, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or business transfer.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update, change, or replace any part of these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version on this page.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Services.
